SabiVault Technologies ("SabiVault", "we") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, country, profile photo
  • Identity verification: government ID (stored securely, not retained after verification)
  • Payment data: bank account details for payouts (never stored raw — handled by our payment infrastructure)
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type, IP address
  • Content: posts, course videos, and files you upload to your vault

2. How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the platform
  • To process payments and payouts
  • To verify your identity as required by law
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, payout confirmations)
  • With your consent, to send product updates and marketing

3. Cookies

We only use essential cookies — required for login sessions and secure payment processing. These cannot be disabled as they are necessary for the platform to function. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only where strictly necessary to operate the platform — with payment processors to handle transactions and payouts, and with email providers to deliver transactional messages such as receipts and payout confirmations. All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for any other purpose.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by Nigerian law (e.g. financial records, which are kept for 7 years).

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Object to processing for marketing purposes
  • Data portability — export your content at any time from Settings

7. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Payment credentials are never stored on our servers — they are handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS certified payment infrastructure.
